We are experts in the art of storytelling. Not a PR agency that’s doing social on the side or ad agency that’s hired a few word monkeys – but bona-fide content specialists. We were founded in 2010 by a group of editors, journalists and publishers who saw that social media is reshaping the way that people relate to brands. And for over four years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to giving those brands a consistent tone of voice – as well as something interesting and relevant to say. Every day. We’re not doing it because it pays the bills (though that helps), we’re doing it because it’s the most creative, exciting, challenging way we can think of spending our time.

 

Meet The Board

The people behind the company
  • The only man to edit, both T3 and Stuff Magazine, Michael is one of the most experienced and talented technology editors in the world. He provides editorial direction for brands like Panasonic, Pioneer and Tesco.
  • Our tech savvy, super talented, digital evangelist, Roger is the brains’ behind creating destinations and mobile experiences for brands including Merrell, LG and Sony.
  • A highly creative people person, building relationships with some of the worlds most well known sports and technology brands, including Merrell, LG and Lenovo comes naturally to Dan.
  • The former publisher of T3 has spent 10 years launching, publishing and commercialising some of the biggest brands in technology media. As MD, Paul is responsible for commercial strategy and day-to-day running of the business.
  • Former editor-in-chief of Stuff Magazine, the world’s best selling gadget magazine, Tom in well versed in the world of consumer technology and is the creative lead on all things print, online and video for clients including Tesco, The Gadget Show and Dali.

International Content Marketing Awards 2014.  Mediablaze shortlisted with two clients, Merrell – The Pack and ESET – Go Explore in the Best Non-Retail Consumer category.  Winners announced shortly.

The Econsultancy Digital Awards 2014 – Merrell and Mediablaze have been shortlisted in the Content Marketing category for The Pack.  Winners announced in Nov.

july. 2013

Dan Whitney joins Mediablaze Group.  The former managing director of creative advertising agency The Minimart assumes dual role as group client services director and managing directer of Tinderbox Video.

may. 2013

Mediablaze Live brand experience agency launched after Mediablaze Group secures strategic partnership with Kate Roffey Management.

april. 2013

Lion Digital acquired. Mediablaze Group is bolstered by the addition of its own digital design and build agency.

oct. 2012

Tinderbox Video launched. Mediablaze Group established with launch of video production agency Tinderbox Video.

jan. 2011

Michael Brook joins Mediablaze.  Former editor of T3 and Stuff magazine becomes our editorial director.
